Early Childhood Preschool Screening

Screening is recommended as soon as possible after your child turns three years of age. Minnesota law requires a health and developmental screening at least once before starting school readiness, kindergarten, or early childhood programming. Screening is conducted by a trained professional who will check vision. hearing, language & communication, large and small muscle, cognitive, social and emotional, and immunizations. If there are questions or concerns, parents/guardians are informed of resources for further assistance or evaluation.

To schedule a no cost appointment call Becker County Public Health at 218-847-5628, ext. 5419.
